Since 1992...
...he has been playing in concerts and teaching the instrument at his schools in Nafplio, Argos, and Athens. Invited by conservatories and associations, he lectures in seminars throughout different cities of Greece, about the art of the instrument and issues that concern the bouzouki in general, as the main subject.

Now, he provides "Live" video-lessons through the internet.

Live performances...
Except for his random appearances at clubs, the important three year collaboration with Maria Farantouri, made it possible for him to play in concerts, not only in Greece, but mainly in very popular music halls in European cities such as; The Philharmonic of Munich, Vienna's CONCERT HAUS, Copenhagen's SCULPTURE HOUSE, in Paris, Zurich, etc.

His participation in discography...
...has been strictly chosen, always by judging if the bouzouki will be able to play freely and improvise, standardizing this way our Laiki music as "alive".

As a starting point, the cd titled:
VANGELIS TRIGAS

which was released in December, 2004 by the record company, Kathreftis.

His book...
Within his actions since the past years towards achieving his goal of upgrading the bouzouki, he will publish a book titled:
"O VANGELIS TRIGAS YIA TO BOUZOUKI"
(Vangelis Trigas for the Bouzouki)
...which is now at it's final stage and will be published very soon.

With this book he addresses important issues, not only for the instrument, but also for our "Laiki" music, giving answers to questions that up until today remain unanswered, sharing his point of view and making suggestions.
