«. . . and rebetiko folk became” is the title of the musical performance given by Vangelis Trigas with his musical ensemble, Kaiti Koullia and Janel, as part of the Syros Rebetiko Festival, on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The transition from rebetiko to folk song  is the theme of the performance with emblematic songs of the twenty years 1950 – 1970
