Vangelis Trigas – BOUZOUKI SEMINAR – SUNDAY 17 MAY, 2026Sunday, 17 May, 2026

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, soloist and bouzouki teacher Vangelis Trigas will give a seminar on the bouzouki. The four-hour seminar (11:00 – 15:oo) will be held at the Music Stage “Didotou’s Bar” and the thematic sections it includes will be: – SOUND – Its structure & production /  STUDY – Structure & systematization /  IMPROVISATION – Rules & genres /  TECHNIQUE – Detailed reference to technical factors / EXPRESSION – Expressive means, personal style / MUSIC WORKSHOP

The seminar can be attended by students – players of all levels, three-string and four-string bouzouki, students of string instruments who belong to the same “family” of the bouzouki, as well as bouzouki tutors. Those interested can bring their instruments because the last zone will function as a music workshop.

On the piano I will be accompanied by Theodoros Broutzakis as I will give throughout the seminar examples of the performance and interpretation of indicative musical pieces from all bouzouki periods.
